Meet LAUREN LIEBERMANN

Lauren is an abstract painter and photographer based in Montclair, New Jersey. Through her emotive and expansive abstract paintings, she offers viewers space to slow down – a rare opportunity for presence and reflection amidst the chaos of everyday life. 

Using acrylics, oil pastels, dye, and spray paint and an active, full-body process, Liebermann’s painting process is an act of rebellion and discovery. She rejects all that is neat and tidy and “inside the lines” as she flings, drips, layers, and removes color to reflect the raw, shifting emotions and energy of life.​
